Artist Backstory
My name is Andrew Kolf. I'm a sophomore at Clawson High School and this is my second year in art. One person that influenced my art was my elementary art teacher. She was always telling me to continue in this craft because she really enjoyed seeing my artwork. My favorite materials to use in art projects are Sharpee markers, oil/acrylic paints, and colored pencils. Each of these materials have a vast variety of shades and colors which enables me to use them to my full advantage. I really enjoy drawing intricate designs, cartoons, and nature. I also like to express my love for soccer by drawing players, logos, and cleats. Things I like include playing sports, preferably soccer, hanging out with family and friends, and playing video games. I hate cold mornings, final exams, and losing to my friends in FIFA.
